A Frustrated Winning Team

Since their loss in the Western Conference final in 2015, FCDallas is working their way this season to redeem themselves. They have one goal and one goal only: winning the MLS Cup. Reporters are saying, however, that their performances have been adequate at best but definitely will not guarantee them a win in the Cup. Their odds won’t even start looking better until they start winning games, not just tying them like they have. FC Dallas defender Ryan Hollingshead said in an interview, “We need to be better. We need to tighten up in the back, especially at home we feel like we should be getting clean sheets and not allowing any goals, so allowing a team to come in and score two is not OK.” As much as everyone point counts, they need to stop playing so soft in order to make these important goals that they seem to keep missing.

The team’s next game is at home against the Portland Timbers, and this can be the turning point for everything. With a great at-home game record, the odds are in their favor, but it will still be a toss up as you get down to it…
