Snapbacks and Tattoos

With the Big 12 Men’s Tennis Tournament approaching on April 29th – May 1st in Stillwater Oklahoma, the official bracket has been released. There were many ups and downs during the Texas Men’s Tennis Team as the Longhorns were tied for 5th place going into the Baylor match. Since they dropped this match their seeding also dropped from 5th to 6th place for the Big 12 Tournament starting soon. The Longhorn men’s tennis team is in search of their first Big 12 Championship title since 2010. It will not be an easy route given that their first round match is against the number 3 seeded Sooners of Oklahoma. The Longhorns lost to the Sooners 0-4 earlier in the season so it will be a tough match up. The men’s tennis team is still going in with their heads high because Oklahoma will come in with a big head thinking about the previous match. If the Longhorn men’s tennis team make it past the Sooners, they still will have a tough schedule following. If they were to dominate the number 3 seeded Oklahoma Sooners, the number 2-seeded TCU Tennis team will be awaiting the winner. The Texas Men’s Tennis Team would have a tough fought battle as they dropped their set against TCU 2-4 during regular Big 12 play. The talent is there in abundance, with players like Adrian Ortiz, Julian Zlobinsky, and George Goldhoff. It is a big possibility that the Texas Longhorns pull out a win against the Oklahoma Sooners but it will definitely be a battle.
