Who expected Leicester City F.C. to win the Premier Leage Title???

I’m pretty sure almost no one within the soccer community would have ever expected for Leicester City to win the premier league title after finally being promoted to the premier league just last season. They actually haven’t won it yet, but if they beat Manchester United tomorrow then they will be crowned the Champions! The odds of even making it to the top four are astonishing. In terms of market values, at the start of the 2014 – 2015 season the teams market value was only 55.8 million euros compared to the most expensive Chelsea, which was worth 526.1 million euros! That is almost 10 times larger! How on earth can a squad with no names come out to the very to top just the next year!?

The answer is the coach. Claudio Rainieri is a master manager. He has made his team believe in him and his players have performed astonishing well. Jamie Vardy, was worth a mere 2 million euros just a few years ago. He is now worth over 15 million euros. The teams average possession has only been 43% yet they have been able to manage being at the top of the table which is odd in comparison in the leading teams from other Leagues. Such as Bayer Munich which has an average possession of over 60% per season. Raineiri plays simple counter attacking soccer and involves all of his players to defend similar to Atletico Madrid. If Leicester City can do it than there is hope in soccer! No longer will Real Madrid, Chelsea, Bayer Munch, Barcelona, Manchester United, and etc. continue being the winners to everything because they have a godly budget from their TV deals.
