Penn Relays

Since 1895 it has been tradition and an honor to participate in the Penn Relays. One of the oldest and most world renowned Track and Field events is upon us the 122t annual Penn Relays..Regularly attacking up to 50,000 people on one day it is a event to be watched. A intense 35 hours of competition will start April 28th-30th with participants from over 60 countries from around the planet. For the days of the event the weather looks to be very favorable with the National Weather Service predicting it to be a little chilly throughout the whole event, there is a chance of rain in the first couple of days but regardless the event will be held. The events that viewers will want to pay attention to are the Men’s USA vs the world events in the famous 4×100, 4×200, and the 4×400. The U.S. Women’s event is another must watch because of the events that occurred the year prior. In 2015 U.S. Women took the 4×200 but sadly came in second behind the number 1 champions Jamaica in the 4×100 and the 4×400. It looks to be a great next couple of days and who knows what surprises are in store for us these days. To everyone good luck!!
