7 reasons why LeBron James is the best player of this generation

There is no doubt that every time LeBron James is on the court you are going to see amazing basketball, but these are the reasons why he might just be the best player of this generation, if not, of ALL TIME.

  1. Baller since high school
LeBron James received press coverage that no other athlete has ever received. During his Senior year, his games were televised on ESPN and he was on the cover of Sports Illustrated
  2. A four-time MVP
From 2008-2013 LeBron stacked up four NBA MVP awards. That is more MVP awards than other NBA greats including; Larry Bird, Kobe Bryant, and Tim Duncan.
  3. Three-time NBA champion
LeBron was ridiculed for nearly a decade because he never won a ring, but in 2012 that all changed. Since then, he has won three NBA Championships, and this year could be his fourth.
  4. Back-to-back NBA Finals MVP
James won the Finals MVP both years his team won the championship. This is no joke. He is the only player in NBA history to average 25 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists in a Finals series. He did it twice. Back-to-back.
  5. Youngest player to score 20,000 points
Even though LeBron entered the league at the age of 18, the fact that he is the youngest player to reach 10,000 and 20,000 points is incredible. He is on track to be the highest scoring player of all time.
  6. Elite athleticism
James is always praised for his out-of-this-world athleticism. He is said that even if he did not play basketball, he could be a star in other sports including football, rugby or soccer.
  7.  11-time NBA All-Star
Since 2005, LeBron James has been named to the NBA’s All-Star team every year and it seems like that is not going to change anytime soon. He is still one of the most elite players in the NBA even at the age of 32.
